Villages

In each village there is always a church that is usually in the center of the village and then the roads kind of lead off from there. Germany is a very clean country.  One difference he noticed - when the movers in Utah packed his things - they left a mess, pop cans, garbage and junk.  When the movers in Germany brought his stuff - because his stuff was in crates when they opened the crates it cause a few wooden splinters to land on the road - they actually swept the road and put the dust and splinters in the garbage.  Heinrich has been to some of the bigger cities but definitely prefers the country.  This village is Gandorf - it reminds Heinrich of The Lord of the Rings.  There is another village called Ginsdorf.  Can you find the church?  (on the right side - you can see the steeple sticking into the field behind it)

This village is Gandorf.  See why it reminds him of Lord of the Rings?  This one has a yellow church!  (Right in the center)  See off in the distance is another village.  (Over the hills and through the woods to Grandmother's house we go - definitely fits Germany)

Also when there are animals in the fields sometimes they have an electric fence to keep the animals in. Heinrich learned that if you are taking a picture it really IS an electric fence so be careful when you back up not to bump into the wire cause it will give you a little tingle!
