Diversity Garden

Outside the Brandenburg Gate there is a monument that memorializes the loss of many people who were forced to leave Germany. There was a time when people who seemed to be different were not welcome in Germany. Many very smart and many talented people left the country. On the pillar at the left Heinrich saw a picture of Albert Einstein. He was one of the people who fled from Germany.

Wandering through the pillars Heinrich found a picture of a man Heinrich was very interested to learn more about.

 

After reading about Herr Mann, Heinrich realized maybe it was his first name that originally caught Heinrich's eye.
