Phillip

While Heinrich was on leave he did his presentation at Garner Elementary in Clio, Michigan. He also got the chance to go to a couple of other schools as well. One of the schools is down in Evansville, Indiana. He had fun when he got to go to school with Sup.

The school that Sup goes to is very nice. It is run by a Christian Group. There is a really nice statue of Jesus with the little children by the outside door. In the hallways are some gigantic posters that tell some of the Bible stories. They are very colorful and pretty.

Heinrich was able to go into Sup's class room and see all of the fun things that are there to do and learn.

Sup was very proud to show Heinrich his place on the class room carpet. It is the spot marked with a big and a little letter “B”. The letters are on a big brown bird.

Heinrich was visiting during Thanksgiving time. As part of the lessons on Thanksgiving, Sup made a pretty picture of a turkey. His turkey had blue and yellow and orange and red spots.

Even better than the turkey was the Thanksgiving treat. One of the girls in Phillip's class brought in Thanksgiving cupcakes. They were in bags to keep them from being too messy. They had a kitty cat on top as part of the decoration. It wasn't clear what the kitty had to do with Thanksgiving but the cupcake was really good.
